Three Types of Soldiers

In this day and time soldiers are considered to be men who have volunteered for one of our armed forces, those who have willfully put themselves in harms way for the defense of our country, for the freedoms we enjoy, and for the liberation of countries abroad. These men and women have put themselves in harms way and have pledged allegiance to defend freedom, liberty, and the ability to self govern even at the cost of their own lives. These volunteer soldiers have made a decision to serve, protect, and ultimately to die for the rights we enjoy today that our freedoms, that our liberties, that our right to protest and have our voice heard shall not be denied by any governing body on the left or the right, or any dictator attempting to impose his or her will on us.
These are volunteer soldiers, they are the ones that have, and the ones that will fight for us to live peaceable lives.

There's another set of soldiers who we’re not familiar with in this day and time, because at the time of their service, they were drafted.
These men and women were soldiers of obligation. They served at a time that the need was so great that what was needed was the ability to mobilize a force quickly, that was readily available and aptly trained and able to go into the forefront of the war already in progress. These men and women may be greater than the ones who “volunteered” for these men and women knew of a time when they were going to be obligated to serve. Their fates were handed to them before they were asked. I volunteered to go into the army, I served for three years, I made up my mind to go into the army, I have no idea what my mindset would have been like if I had known prior to that, that I was going to be drafted and I was going to be placed on the front line.
Earlier I said that this soldier the one that is drafted may be greater than the one that volunteered, never would I suggest that one life has greater value than the other I only wanted to point out that the one that is being drafted has a date with destiny that was pre-determined and that alone speaks to me of the strength of that individual and the fortitude to accept that calling on their life. Make no mistake about it all life is of equal value!

Now I want to talk about another soldier, this is a self proclaimed soldier; this is one who has no values to defend, no country to liberate, and no freedoms worth dying for. This soldier learns everything on the battlefield; this soldier will defend his right to die! The life of this soldier holds little promise; there is no purpose to it all. At 29 years old this soldier is considered a chairman of the board, at 22 years old this soldier is considered a general, at 14 years old is placed on the front line as a private the lowest ranking of all the armed forces yet he is the one who as they say is “putting in work.” This soldier has found common ground with a color red, blue or whatever, with a gang sign, or a tattoo, or worst an idea. A thought, a well placed deception, an evil that goes beyond measure! For this soldier it is an honor to die for his block. This soldier calls his army family. This soldier will die for his family, this soldier if he knew this verse would believe he's doing an honorable thing.
John 15; 13 greater love has no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends
But he does know this verse he just doesn’t not it in its true meaning. The devil has twisted this verse I believe he has taught it in this way “greater love has no man than this, that a man lay down another man for his friends” the street soldier’s mantra.
The evil one has also used John 15:14 that state; you are my friends if you do whatsoever I command you.
There is a continuing battle for your mind, for your allegiance, and for your abilities. Do not be deceived. There is a battle going on and it is for you the soldiers of this war, on the one side you have the commander-in-chief of the universe who joined you in this battle and laid down His life in order that you may live, and so that you would not be dismayed He rose again three days later with the keys of death and hell in His hands!
On the other hand there is a general that wants to be commander-in-chief and his prime example of how to show that he's in charge and that all power is in his hands is to get you to lay down your life for him!
What a difference!
