The Heart of the Matter

There's a new President on his way to the top seat in the land and world. For many it's like a breath of fresh air, a renewal of hope, a lifting of the gray cloud that has seemed to haunt us both near and far. We have "hope" again or we "hope" we do. I believe men and women are appointed to serve this country and our world by God for purposes that we sometimes don't understand. For as it says in; 1Co 13:12 "For now we see in a mirror dimly, but then face to face. Now I know in part, but then I shall fully know even as I also am fully known". As we understand our needs and the hope we have to seeing some of them fulfilled through President Obama, let us remember to look on to God's heart. Let us tap into the needs of the Creator that our prayers may be sprinkled with our needs, and covered with God's desires. God is continually spanning the globe in search of a few people who will stand in the gap for our leaders, our country, our world. Let's keep our President in mind when we pray, but foremost let's keep God in our heart.
